Spring is here
Hayden and Ian found a long chain and they were leading each other around the yard.
they love to hang on the bars on the swingset in our yard. this is Ian before he let go!
Ian taking it easy and reading a magazine
Hayden and Ian helping mommy "weed" the garden. They had so much fun playing in the dirt. We had to have a bath afterwords and the water was soooo dirty. I guess I should just get used to that.
Hayden eating a banana outside
Hayden has defiantly hit the terrible twos. He was throwing a fit, so we put him in the room for time out, after about 5 minutes we went in to get him and he got so mad he would slam the door on us. finally Michael went in and took a picture of him throwing his massive fit so we can show it to him later in life.

Grandpa Doug came to visit this weekend. The boys have been having so much fun with him. It has been a real blessing for me since this weekend is the moment that my body decided to catch this bug that has been going around. Hope to feel better soon. And Michael has 2 days off.

Where do they learn this stuff
Today I was getting ready for the day, and the boys were sitting on the floor by the bathroom. Ian was talking on the phone (his play cell phone) and I asked him who is he talking to? He said it was Grandpa. I told him that Grandpa was coming to visit in a few days, and he said in the phone, see you tomorrow Grandpa. then he handed the phone to Hayden and said it is Grandpa, Hayden then started to talk to Grandpa. This whole conversation reminds me that they watch and see what we are doing and retain so much more than I even think. They continue to amaze me.

Death to the Camera
Well, our camera has lost its battle with life. We need to get another one soon because the boys are always doing funny things and our vacation coming up. However, if you do not see pictures here for a while, that is why. Hope to update soon.

Random things
this was one of the days that we were practicing potty training. Hayden was just so funny, he put on his shoes all by himself, they were on the wrong foot, but he did not want me to change them. He seemed to like not having pants on.
My Friend Paula made the boys some tie dye shirts and Ian just loved his he wanted to get his picture taken with them

This is Ian and Hayden on the slides at the park next to us. They seem to think that this park is "their" park. The day that we were there, a group from the daycare was there and Hayden kept telling all the little kids No my slide. Then when Ian would go, He would say Ian's slide. We were over there the other day and some lady asked me if these were the boys that were here guarding the slide.

This is the BIG snow we got. The boys thought it was fun to run in it. This was also the day we took the boys to look for easter eggs in SF.

Dying Easter Eggs
Just got done making Easter Eggs. The boys had such a good time. They each had their own eggs and put them in the dye. I think they will have fun tomorrow looking for them and their baskets.

Getting started
Hi family and friends. I am excited to report that I have started a blog. I thought that it would be an easier way to communicate with some of you. I can also keep track of what the boys do and how they are growing. It is in the beginning stages, but check back and see all the great pictures of the boys and the fun things we are doing.
